We are open for recording 9am - Late, 7 days a week.

To avoid disappointment aim to book your session at least 1 month in advance. Weekends are busy. However, it's always worth a call to check for late cancellations.

N.B. If you're considering analogue recording for your project be aware of the difference in price for 2" tape as opposed to digital recording (which is straight to hard drive and hence free):


2" 24 TRACK Quantegy 456 - £120 per reel
HIRE TAPES £25 per reel
Also note these tapes, when run at 30ips,
give approx 16.5 mins per reel

For hard-disk recording without tape, we simply back up the file data on DVD-R. These are £2 each and store roughly 4.5GB per disc.

The answer is: yes, we'll give you consolidated audio tracks to import into your DAW of choice.
Call us with your specific requirements. What we offer is not only the hire of the studios but also a vast wealth of knowledge of recording techniques. If you want to produce excellent quality masters at home then the first thing you have to get right is the recording stage. If you want the drum sound of John Bonham, Clyde Stubblefield or Steve Gadd then leave it to us, we have the right mics and the experience.

Audio Processing:

Mastering - Stereo Editing - CD Recording (From your DAT/CD/Cassette master) - DAT to DAT copies- Audio "Sweetening" of master mixes and re-compiling of track orders - Multi band compression - Limiting - Sub-bass - Enhancement - Dehissing/decrackle - Restoration - 45/33/78RPM Vinyl transfers.
CD copies can now be done at 16 x speed

Rehearsal:

Increasingly rare (we're so fully booked for recording) but worth a call.
If we can do it, 3 hours for £30.
Backline provided and the room's ventilated. It's in the studio so the acoustics are great.

Only available 7-10pm (usually week days).
